Cassava and ox Tail Recipe RECIPE:

Cassava and Ox Tail RECIPE:
You will need:

- Cassava (as much as you want)
- Ox Tail
- 2 Tomatoes
- Onions
- 1 Fresh habanero pepper
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 cup of water

The Ox Tail.
Blend your tomatoes, onions and pepper and set aside.
Now: Ox tail gets tender very fast... so you don't need to boil it like regular meat. Think of it like spicing ribs. lol
Put all your washed pieces of ox in a small pot and pour in your blended mixture with salt and maggi, then cover it and let it cook on its own for like 40minutes. Taste the meat for when its ready. When its finally ready leave the pot open for it to get dry.
This is a technic you can use for beef and chicken(the tougher the meat the more water you'll need).

The Cassava.
Cassava is very tricky, you cannot boil it in water, u need to steam it.
-What i do is, i'll wrap it in aluminium foil and then place it on a metal plate and have water underneath. There are easier ways though.
-Then Cover the pot and let it boil for 30 mins, or less.
- When that's done, rub salted butter on it and roast it in the oven till its lightly brown.
-Trust me; my way is THE way... :) lol
